A Journey of 'Whole-Soul' Intentional Living...

Inspiring You to Live ALL the Colours of Your Truth.

Welcome to Mama Chameleon, where I encourage women to live ALL the colours of their truth.
We are multi-faceted beings that need more than just a tidy house and happy kids to make us feel fulfilled. And yet, so often it feels like motherhood should be "it" for us. It can feel like the doors to nearly everything else have closed.

I am here to tell you that you don't need permission to have passions besides being a great mother. You don't need permission to speak your truth, to take time out for yourself or even to change careers if you want to. YOU are the captain of your ship, and the master of your fate.
When we begin to embrace the idea of cultivating a broader inner-life - exploring new hobbies and interests, tending to our marriage, deepening our spiritual practice, taking care of ourselves first - we become better mothers as a result.
It's like that bumper-sticker saying: "Happy Wife, Happy Life" right?

It's very true that our energy affects our family, and it's our duty as conscious mothers to do what we can to keep our energy high and loving.

But we can't pour from an empty cup... I want to help you take the actions that will fill your cup again
Meet Mama Chameleon - aka Tam Johnson

Tam's purpose in life is to inspire mothers to embrace ALL of who they really are, and get into action to create the life they truly want.

She knows what YOU want and need: you want to feel validated in your desires, and you need to know you have what it takes to get unstuck and bring your dreams to life. Tam lives the transformation everyday and knows without a doubt that if she can do it, anyone can. Read Tam's story here.

She teaches mothers with big dreams & ambitions, the principles and strategies to overcome obstacles, overwhelm and feeling stuck, so they can play-to-win big and feel truly fulfilled in all areas of life.

Then one night Paul came home and said “Eff it, let's move to Wales.” Now, he's said things like this before and I thought he was just having a down day (though I won't deny I got a bit excited; I've been talking about moving to Wales since we first went, way back when we first started dating). But something about him was different this time, and he made it clear he was actually dead serious. No more talk; time to really start crunching numbers and doing the research.

I was pissed. Not at my family, but just at society in general and the fact that EVERY. SINGLE. EVENT. always revolves around the bloody food! And not even just food - it's always about the "treats" that people don't usually have; it's that point where you can "justify" it, saying 'It's a special occasion'.  Why are people so food-obsessed? (And when I say "people" I whole-heartedly include myself in that!) How can we let ourselves justify feeding the people we LOVE with carcinogenic, inflammatory and destructive "foods" we know are harmful, just because they are (engineered to be) so "tasty"?

If you are considering homeschooling your children, you are most likely experiencing a whole range of conflicting emotions and thoughts around it. We’ve been there and it still crops up for us from time to time. Here’s a long list of things to consider when you’re thinking about homeschooling (I recommend a pen and notepad for this, or an open word doc you can type into!) It may seem an exhaustive list, and you may think that some of it doesn’t apply to you, but I urge you to work through it anyway. This is one area where 10 minutes of planning will save you hours, if not days, of difficulty later on.

We, as citizens of Earth, have beliefs about life and our future that have slowly evolved to encompass the idea and desire for a world of more freedom in every sense. But breaking out of the limitations of the lack-mindset that was formed in our early years by the system we grew up in, has made it very difficult for us to even allow that desire to take root, let alone believe in it as a potential reality. We didn’t want our children growing up with such a narrow view of the possibilities for their lives, especially knowing just how intelligent and creative and adventurous they are.
